Woody is getting on in life, a Korean war veteran who is starting to get a bit confused and difficult. His two sons think Woody needs to go into a retirement home. What Woody wants to do is to travel hundreds of miles to Lincoln in Nebraska. He thinks he has won $1 million in a sweepstake. As his wife and family struggle to cope with Woody’s stubborn determination, adventures happen and old secrets emerge out of the past.
