Micheal Keaton plays former “Birdman” Riggen Thompson, who is trying to shake the association of himself with the Birdman, by branching out artistically and directing starring in and co producing his very own Broadway show. Throughout the film Riggen battles the voice of the Birdman to make sure that he can pull of this play despite the many troubles encountered during the preview showings. With an eccentric cast of characters including a pretentious actor and Riggen’s fresh out of rehab daughter, he is able to confront his demons and put on a show no one will forget.
